Our first residential opportunity at Meriam Park is coming up soon!  We will begin construction on new Fourplex apartment buildings this Fall and have them ready for tenants by Summer 2019. This is our first step in bringing exciting, new housing options to the City of Chico and we couldn’t be more thankful for your support and interest thus far. Our intention with these buildings is to sell all five buildings to one interested owner / investor with Gonzales Development Company managing the building.

We are elated to announce that we will begin taking deposits for the five available buildings very soon! Each of the five buildings will house four separate units with two on each floor. Additionally, each unit is approximately 923 square feet featuring two bedrooms, two bathrooms, balconies / outdoor space, a kitchen, spacious living / dining room, and in-unit washer and dryer hookups. Not only are these apartments the first living spaces in our upcoming Dwell District – an area of the development designed specifically for single and multi-family residences, urban flats and townhouses -, these Fourplexes will also be directly adjacent to the social hub of Meriam Park, our Tank District. While the majority of the Dwell District won’t begin construction until next year, we are already underway with the construction and implementation of the Tank District which will broadly feature retail, food and beverage, as well as health and wellness spaces. Our vision for the Tank District will showcase a variety of enticing features for a walk-able community including unique shops, bars, restaurants, a shared-use kitchen, multiple music venues, and much more. Those residing in the Fourplex apartments will be the first residents in Meriam Park to take advantage of this thriving, sustainably planned community.

In fact, our first tenants of the Tank District will be opening their doors within the next couple of months. Our first “Maker” will make their Meriam Park debut as the introductory tenant of our Maker Building in September: Pacific Culture! This Chico local specializes in all things fermented – pickles, sauerkraut, even kombucha! We are excited to have Pacific Culture with us here at Meriam Park and look forward to them taking root in this community. Our next retail building, beginning construction Fall 2018, will open Winter 2019 featuring a coffee roaster, hair salon, and fitness studio. We will be announcing tenants soon!
