Puppy Pageant

About: The Puppy Pageant is a fundraiser event for Bidwell Wildlife Rehabilitation and the Art Doula Project. We invite you to come show off your amazing dog to the larger community while supporting the wonderful animals looking for their forever homes as well as free and low-cost community art events.
The pageant will include a runway walk and a talent portion. Whether your dog knows a special party trick or looks at you funny when you ask them to sit, our panel of comedic judges wants to assess whether your dog is truly the best dog ever. (Spoiler Alert: They are!)
Multiple Dogs will go home with titles from our comedic judges, and the 3 most tipped dogs (we will be walking around with tip jars) will win some special prizes for their humans. Make sure you encourage your friends to attend and to bring cash for donations!

We will also have local artists offering on-the-spot dog portraits, for a fee.

$10 contestant Entry Fee
(Includes one Human Door Fee)

Up to 30 Contestants

To keep this event safe and fun, we need to lay down some ground rules.
Please read the rules BEFORE applying.

RULES:

1. Applications are due Friday, March 1 by 9PM.
2. One application per pup (contestant.)
3. Applicants will receive a confirmation email with payment information from chicovendorevents@gmail.com.
4. Payments are due Sunday, March 3 by 9PM. We will email you with payment info!
5. Applicant entry will be verified via email. Please double check the spelling of your information.
6. All contestants must be well behaved, and socialized.
7. All contestants must be on a leash at all times.
8. A maximum of 30 contestants will be accepted.
9. Contestants must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to showtime (2PM) to participate.
10. Event will conclude by 5 PM or sooner. Please remain at the venue for the duration of the event if you have entered a dog into the competition.
11. No cats.

If rules are not followed you will be asked to not participate. No refunds.

NOTES:

1. Feel free to ham it up with costumes and other gimmicky goodness.
2. Please bring your own water bowl for your doggy.
